Films will be screened at the Movie Tavern Aurora, Hawkins Movie Theatre and Denver Sie Film Center. Opening and closing cermonies will be held at local venues.
CGFF aims to obtain designation by AMPAS, BAFTA, BIFA, and the Goya Awards as an award-qualifying festival, and to gain accreditation from the International Short Film Conference, aspiring to be among the most acclaimed short film showcases in the world and attract an engaged, film-savvy audience. As a festival, short film market, and educational forum, CGFF will be recognized in Colorado as the “Filmmaker’s Festival,” combining acclaimed programming, industry interaction, and hands-on experiences in a fun festival atmosphere
